Dr. Runhuan Feng is a Professor of Mathematics, Statistics, Industrial and Enterprise Systems Engineering. He is currently the Chair of Education and Research Council of the Society of Actuaries. He is a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries and a Chartered Enterprise Risk Analyst.

Dr. Frank Quan, PhD
Dr. Zhiyu (Frank) Quan is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematics of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He holds a Ph.D. in Actuarial Science from the University of Connecticut. He is also a faculty advisor for the Illinois Risk Lab, which facilitates research activities that integrate academic training with practical problem-solving in real business settings.

Claudia Freiji, MSc, ASA
Claudia is an instructor of actuarial science and risk management at the University of Illinois Urbana Champaign. Claudia is also the coordinator of the Illinois Risk Lab (iRisk Lab) and is an advisor for actuarial science students. She is an Associate in the Society of Actuaries and holds two MS degrees, one in Applied Statistics from Ohio State University and another in Financial Economics from the University of London. Prior to that, she served for 20 years as the Actuarial Science academic advisor at Notre Dame University, Louaize, Lebanon.

Lynne MCChristian is a senior instructor and Director of the Office of Risk Management & Insurance Research at Gies College of Business at University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Lynne holds a BA in Journalism from Marquette University and an MA in Mass Communication from the University of Arkansas. She also holds an Associate in Management (AIM) designation from The Institutes.

Dr. David Dalpiaz is a Teaching Assistant Professor in the Department of Statistics of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He holds a Ph.D. in Statistics from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He has been a member of the American Statistical Society since 2011. Dr. Dalpiaz has achieved a ranking of “Excellent” for teaching at UIUC on numerous occasions since 2009.

Dr. James Joseph Balamuta is a Visiting Assistant Professor in the Department of Statistics of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He holds a Ph.D. in Informatics from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He is a member of the Psychometric Society, rOpenSci, the National Council on Measurement in Education (NCME), and the American Educational Research Association (AERA).
